RANGE RULES

1 No one is allowed onto the range under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substances 

2 All firearms must be inspected at the Rangemaster's station prior to entry onto the range any firearm(s) or ammunition found to be unsafe will not be admitted on to the range. All ammunition is subject to approval

3 Eye and ear protection is mandatory at all times while on the range
4 Anyone handling firearms in an unsafe or careless manner will be escorted from the premises. This includes members.
5 Loading and handling of firearms must only be done at the shooting point with the muzzle pointed downrange
6 Muzzle of firearms(s) must be pointed downrange at all times. If leaving the shooting point temporarily, leave the firearm at the shooting point unloaded and with the action open, muzzle pointed downrange
7 Firearms may not be transferred from booth to booth unless authorized/instructed by the Rangemaster
8 Only one (1) shooter within the shooting booth at a time. When not shooting, other shooter must stand behind the safety line
9 If a jam, misfire or malfunction occurs, keep the firearm pointed downrange, lay it down on top of the shooting bench, then signal the Rangemaster. DO NOT BRING THE FIREARM OUT
10 Ceasefire means stop shooting immediately, unload firearm and then wait for further instructions
11 All range brass must be left on the range. Any brass being removed should be pre-marked before entry onto the range.
12 7 yard minimum shooting distance

13 Rates of fire:

  • Small targets- slow fire only (1 shot every 2 seconds)
  • Medium targets- double/triple taps @ 4 second intervals
  • Large targets- controlled rapid fire, center mass hits only, no head shots
14 You will be given one (1) warning for hitting the target hanger, floor, walls or ceiling
15 A second infraction will result in removal from the range for the remainder of the day

16 Immediate ejection from Jackson Arms for any unsafe handling of firearms(s) such as:

  • Turn around with firearm
  • Hand a loaded firearm to anyone else
  • Move a loaded firearm from booth to booth
  • Bring a "jammed" firearm into the retail area
17 Please report any unsafe conduct to the Rangemaster at once. Any violation of range safety rules may result in immediate ejection from the range
18 Jackson Arms and its staff shall not be held liable for any damages incurred from use of any ammunition. Customer will resolve any issues with the manufacturer of the product.
19 When finished shooting, put firearm away unloaded, clean shooting area and remove targets and trash  
20 Customers may be held liable, monetarily, for any damages to Jackson Arms equipment or property
